The discovery of the New World by European explorers caused endless problems for American Indians, whose homelands were gradually taken from them and whose cultures were dramatically altered, and in some cases destroyed, by the invasion.

BEFORE DARKNESS FALLS is a book of poetry and prose that deals with real life issues that all of mankind comes to face. War, Hate, injustice and redemption. Some of the poems deal with the tenderness of love, while others speak aloud of social injustice.
